What are the powers of the President of India? Can he do anything he will better for the country?
Or the Prime Ministers or other ministers decide what to do and what not, and the President is just a person to sign and agree, disagree.
it’s true that President of India is ceremonial head and he has to act in accordance with council of ministers but still he has some discretionary powers at contingency situations such as when the ministers lost confidence of house. He can also return the bill for reconsideration in his discretion once.
However many of the discretionary powers are silent.
Also,he is most respectable person over land of India, Commander in Chief of all forces and first in the order of precedence.
President of India is a First person of India. He could suggest only for Parliamentary committee. Complete power have only Prime Minister and other Ministers. At any emergency call all ministers decides what to do. For more information do read about India.
President of India can not do any thing important for the country. He is only titular head and he has to sign on documents presented to him by Prime Minister of India.

6First part of your question needs plenty of space as the power is in PAPERS only.
Second question is much easier to answer, NO he/she can’t do.
