   We are incresingly more aware of other ways of thinking. As time goes on we can hope that are view become less polorized into the “american way”. Also, with more world perspective it gives hope that the USA will some day fit into the world, instead of having americans try to fit the world into the USA perspective

   We have been able to have and use the best aspects of so many different cultures. Every group has not only brought foods, customs, etc., but also ways of thinking, philosophies, and ideas. The wide variety here has made the American culture multi-faceted, very interesting, and very productive.

   Basically in its honest form, it’s to teach and educate others to different cultures. Avoiding pre-disposition to any society.

   When people of intelligence and honor come to America we are enriched. When criminals come into America we are all lowered.

   the language has become more colorful and interesting
   the food is much better
   the music “rock and roll” would have never existed
   all music improved
   the people look more attractive with that nice blend
   the DNA base is stronger

   Multiculturalism has helped us understand other cultures. It contributes a lot to society, but mostly it brings education, understanding and difference.
   Multiculturalism brings heaps of other stuff too, like exotic foods and flavors from other countries!
   But there are also downfalls of multiculturalism.
   “History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual.”

   Lets start with cooking I love Chines food & itialian & greek.
   Music don’t you like salsa, & Irish folk.
   How about dancing ,River dance is a lark Hip hop is cool,
   Multi cultural opens up more doors to other life styles see how other people live wothout having to go to that particular country. America is a melting pot after all.

   The older immigrants assimilated into society through legal channels. The new ones do so as well….They bring in diverse and new ideals
